Like every other occasion in my life, I like to be well dressed or 'prepared' for the gym.
About 4 months ago I took the plunge and got myself a gym membership
- and a naturally a new workout wardrobe to go with!
I literally signed up for the gym, and then drove directly to my nearest Rebel Sports to start shopping!
To say I was overwhelmed with the choices would be an understatement. So many colours, styles, fabrics, I didn't know where to start or what I really needed!!
So I decided to do some research! The first thing I learn't was that like in the fashion world, label is everything & that most 'gymies' have a go to brand. Lorna Jane as I discovered is like the designer label of women workout gear, with bright colours, cute crop tops and in my opinion a slightly higher price tag just for shits & gigs . However I had always been a nike girl for sports shoes so decided I would stray from the pack and stick with the Just Do It crew.
The second thing, and most important tip I learnt was to develop a colour scheme!!
I quickly discovered that there was nothing more irritating then getting ready for the gym (running late as always) only to find that a pair of fluro pink shorts and a red tank are your only clean options!!
So in true OCD Jessie style I ditched the bright colours and stuck with a clean black & white -with the occasional hint of grey marle, colour scheme! As crazy and over the top as it might sound, it made a world of difference in shopping for new gym pieces as well as getting ready in a rush! Everything matches and I look like a walking Nike advert (minus the abs!). Also, having such a strict workout shopping plan has saved me money & time! The girls at the Nike store literally have my number on speed dial to call soon as new monochrome pieces arrive!! Its great, especially when I can give them a heads up on what Im looking for!

Eastbay.com
Eastbay is a leading world supplier of athletic shoes, clothing and sports equipment. It was established to meet the performance needs of local high school and college athletes within Central Wisconsin. Originally viewed as a grassroots project, this venture grew into a worldwide direct mail catalog and internet sales conglomerate featuring top athletic brands such as adidas, ASICS, Reebok, Jordan, New Balance, Saucony, Under Armour and Nike.
**Eastbbay ships to Australia, usually within 7-days! I recommend getting a bunch of girls and putting in a order together that way you can split the shipping costs (approx $30).
